FBI's First Released UAP Video — "Triangle Orbs" Over the Northeastern US, 2021
For the first time in the PURSUE program, the FBI has released its own dedicated video series of UAP sensor footage. The headline entry is FBI-UAP-PR001 — "Triangle Orbs", a 2 min 42 sec clip from the Northeastern United States in 2021. It is the FBI's first publicly released UAP video as a primary source rather than a supplemental document.
Three orbs in triangular formation. Duration: 2 min 42 sec. Released June 12, 2026 as part of PURSUE Release 03. Source: war.gov/UFO.
What the file actually shows
The "Triangle Orbs" file appears to show three bright orb-like objects arranged in a triangular configuration over the Northeastern United States in 2021. Like the other FBI sensor releases, the actual sensor system, location, and capturing-agency context are not detailed in the public materials. The clip is published as source material — not as evidence of any single conclusion.
Why the FBI series matters
Previous PURSUE FBI files were almost entirely documentary: FD-302 interview reports, FD-1057 supplemental documents, infrared still images, composite witness sketches. PR001 is the first FBI release in PURSUE where the FBI itself is the publishing agency for a primary video record, not a downstream document.
